One out of 10 Americans have used a dating website or software, including 38% of people that currently describe themselves as “single and seeking,” according to Pew Research Center’s first study on internet dating since 2005.

Pew discovered that throughout the last eight years, the amount of those who continued a romantic date with somebody they met online grew to 66%, an increase that is significant 43% in 2005.
