Flock Printing:

Flock printing is a famous printing process where the short fibers of all the materials are used and applied on another adhesive surface. It is successfully achieved by the flock vinyl that gives a 3D furry look to the design on the fabric. This can again be cut out and then stuck on to other fabrics too. When seen, it gives a similar look to that of the puff printing. The 3D flock print made on the fabric stands above the rest of the design on the surface of the fabric.

The best part of this type of printing is that it can be applied to different individual fabrics as well as to some whole complete fabric too. It is an ideal solution and promotional wear for a lot of different products produce. The design is first made and then cut and stuck onto the other fabrics as same as the vinyl printing.  As usual it is used to print all types of t-shirts hoodies etc.

Pros of Using Flock Printing:

  1. Sit on the fabric completely.
  2. It is an ideal technique.
  3. It gives an attractive 3D-effect.

Cons of Using Flock Printing:

  1. This has very small nylon particles that cause lung problems while inhaled.
  2. These garments can never be washed inside-out.

Other types of printing:

Flock printing is an ideal solution for fashion clients and promotional wear as it can be printed on lots of different products. For example; T-Shirts, hoodies, polo shirts, caps, sweatshirts and much more.

Flock vinyl can be up to A3 size to achieve brilliant, bold and in your face designs with a beautiful 3D texture to really make your designs stand out.

  • Due to the texture of flock printing, the garments where it’s used should be washed inside out
  • Never placed inside the tumble dryer.
  • It’s important to avoid ironing over the print as this can ruin the print and, ultimately, ruin the T-Shirt.
