Primarily, Screen printing (also known as the stencil technique or method)  is a basic printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer the ink onto the substrate or to the fabric with use of a stencil. A blade is moved onto the stencil to spread the ink all over it.

The Reflecting ink is also as same as the techniques involved in the screen printing say, the set-ups and the processes but the only difference is that it gives an added effect to that and glows when light strikes on it. And the only difference in the ink is the reflective ink involved in the reflecting screen printing instead of the normal plastisol or the water based ink. After the printing is done it looks silver or golden but when the light strikes it, it reflects back showing an eye-catching effect in the print.

Reflective screen printing is the great and specialty option for screen printing. Since it is a versatile printing technique, it works well on all the fabrics with complete safety while working ,because of its attractive eye-catching effect and print. Reflective ink can be used to make apparels for business, special events and also for daily wears. It withstands heat completely.

Reflective screen printing is a versatile printing technique, meaning that it works well on nearly all garment types, with the exception of garments which feature long fibres.

This is a great option for hi-vis workwear that requires letting or a design to be seen at night when a light is shone on it.

For the best results, the garment should be able to withstand heat, but if you have a specific garment and are unsure, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you.

We can always screen print onto T-Shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, polos, tote bags and many other products, so we will be able to find a solution that meets your needs.

Pros and Cons of Reflective Screen Printing:

Printed garments are more sensitive and need extra attention when it comes to washing.

To preserve the print and the garment, it is recommended that you wash it inside out on a cold wash.

Do not use a tumble-dryer and do not iron over the print.
